Looming over us...

..the elephant in the room. Whatever you want to call it.
In the next two weeks students all over the world will be returning to school. Or in mine and many of my friends cases getting ready to start a new journey in university/college.

I know there's probably a ton of stuff do to before next week but I really don't know what to do.
It's not like I have to pack anything, I'm living thru my friends for that. I was totally looking up toaster oven recipes when a friend told me that she got one for her dorm. Mini meat loafs anyone? Mini apple crumble?

I probably need to make a trip to staples....okay I want to make a trip to staples. Office Supplies are my weakness. I love them. I know it's sad but post-it notes are the best thing in the world.

I'm finally having my orientation for work on Tuesday, which is great. The only thing was that I have a York Academic Orientation that day as well that I really wanted to go to. Hopefully it will end early and I can make it to at least some of it. Luckily I have to work the next day from 5-10 so I'll miss the social portion.
Then it's frosh week starting on the 5th. That I could miss out on but I suppose it's a right of passage or whatever. It's expensive, maybe I don't have to go on the boat cruise part on the Saturday. That's at least $20 off the price that can go towards books.

I'm starting to look and plan out my new york trip. My uncle is trying to get me tickets to either Hair or Bye Bye Birdie. I'll be there from Oct 10th to the 14th. That's enough time for three shows. (I'll be leaving on the 14th and there are no shows on Mondays) Other than those two I want to see Shrek, Next to Normal and Hamlet.
I've found plane tickets for under $200USD round trip. That's not bad.


Other than that nothing much going on. Just trying to scheduale everything in that needs to be done and that I want to do.

My current dream is that I'll arrive at school and find out that all written assignments are outlawed. That would make my day.
